FHRD 2019 1 Annual HR Conference

As per previous years, FHRD will organise the Annual HR Conference and Expo.
The event has today become the main conference in Malta for all things related
to HR, Training and Business Management.
This year’s overall theme will be HR Transformation: Unravelling the Future.
It will address what the organisation of the future looks like and the re-shaping
of the HR function to support organisations going through this transformative
This year’s theme has been selected as the HR function is at a crossroads in this
evolution with aging legacy systems and processes and is pivotal to meeting the
needs of tomorrow’s workforce. The 2019 conference will address the salient
points on the future of work and how the HR function will need to integrate
human and digital labour in a collaborative workplace.
Essentially understanding the different dynamics of the future world of work
will enable business leaders and HR professionals to be proactive in adapting
to this transformative change. These challenges have already started affecting
organisations, so now is the time to act. Clearly, if the HR function wants to
continue to play a critical role in organisations’ future it needs to function
more strategically adopting a more integrated model and ultimately creating
